Rota


Three rota’s are used to provision staff on a 24 hour basis:

The senior rota consists of the following:
  • At least one senior staff member (management) on duty from 9am to 5pm
  • One person in charge assigned on duty from 7:30am to 8:00pm
  • One person in charge assigned on duty from 7:30pm to 8:00am

The care assistant rota consists of the following:
  • Two day-staff on duty from 7:30am to 8:00pm
  • One senior staff on duty from 7:30am to 8:00pm
  • Night staff on duty from 7:30pm to 8:00am

The kitchen and domestic rota consists of the following:
  • One cook on duty from 8:00 am to 3pm
  • One domestic on duty from 8:00 am to 1pm

The team also has one part time maintenance person who is supported by qualified electricians, heating engineers, builders and decorators contracted in when necessary.

The operational staff and residents are supported by the Senior Management Team - namely the Manager/Proprietor and the Assistant Manager.

A number of community services are available to residents on a regular basis on site including local GPs on a call out basis, chiropody every 8 weeks and up to two hairdressing visits per week, mobile dentist and optician.

Woodlands Residential Care Home is registered by Care Quality Commission (CQC)
